How to Use the Blur Brush

Blur Types Explained

  • Mosaic – Divides the painted area into solid-colour blocks. Great for censoring text, faces, or licence plates while keeping the composition clear.
  • Gaussian Blur – Applies a smooth, circular blur kernel. Ideal for softening backgrounds, reducing noise, or creating a depth-of-field look.
  • Motion Blur – Smears pixels along a chosen angle at a set intensity. Perfect for speed effects, panning backgrounds, or stylised edits.
